Re: Miki I don't even understand why people would think she's annoying anyways unless it's her constant clinginess to the Producer, which is sorta exaggerated. Miki provides an interesting contrast to Haruka's ideals as an idol and gives you plenty to think about.

I think it's suspicious because it matches the dimensions of the Nintendo patent exactly, when presumably even the devkit would differ from their original patent.

God loving drat I hated that episodes. Kuroi nearly ruined Chihaya's life, constantly hosed over 765 Pro and the 765 Pro Chief is like, "No, Kuroi's actually not a bad guy, just misunderstood." Like, I don't get how they could say that in an episode where he tried to sabotage Chihaya's comeback by bribing staff members. This coming the episode right after he nearly broke Chihaya mentally.

I don't really have any strong hate or liking for Miki, but if I were forced to choose I would say I liked her. I don't really care for 765's idols as a whole aside from Takane and Azusa. Now, the Cinderella Girls are another matter entirely.

Maybe it's a personal thing. Miki and her transformation from a lazy idol to someone with aspirations and ambitions does play a major part of the middle of the series, but Chihaya's arc and Haruka's arcs just feel more prominent.

One of the biggest problems of iM@S was the lack of focus on certain characters, so I'd like it if CG gave more emphasis on the girls as a group rather than just giving each girl and episode and ignoring most of them later.

Then you'll like CG a lot because everyone stays more or less prominent. There are a few Idol of the Week kind of episodes, but the cast is integrated much more in CG than in 765's show.
