im having some peeps over for dinner and im fresh out of ideas. im thinking a chicken thing???? or maybe a big bowl of pasta and garlic bread thats usually a crowd pleaser. wine also obviously you know get people drunk is always a good plan of action. inspire me goons, help me unleash my inner guy fieri.

How much time do you have? A simple roast chicken on a bed of root veg, onions, celery, and whole mushrooms is a good thing, but you'd need about 20 minutes per pound.

Do a burrito bar. Arrange bowls of all the popular selections (seasoned ground beef, shredded cheese, lettuce, salsa, sour cream, guac... I don't like my burritos to be authentic) and a pile of warmed tortillas and let people assemble their own. Include crunchy taco shells too if you like picking spilled food out of your carpets.
