The refs are an unknowable force of nature who may screw one team within a game but on the whole screw everybody equally, so i feel no guilt about benefiting from their miscalls because one day they will screw my team in return if they havent already

We Pens fans like to bitch about the refs but mostly it's in the form of no-calls on cheap shots against Pens players, usually Letang. In terms of penalties actually called the refs have historically been quite kind to the Penguins, which is likely related to the fact the Penguins are one of the only two teams NBC cares about.
