They have to move all the hole locations too. That takes 5-10 minutes per hole. Which means they have to have multiple groups of people doing that, which I don't think is normal.

I went into this knowing that Sergio's greatest success in majors have come on flat, (relatively) slow greens. Not to put the cart before the horse, but perhaps what he needs is absolutely punishing greens to be a Great Equalizer, letting his ball striking shine through. He doesn't have much on Stenson, though. Dude only missed like 1 green today.

Troy Queef posted:I really like that split-screen view Fox is doing on certain tee-shots. They did that last year too and I liked it, I haven't seen it on any other coverage. Pros making terrible putting strokes always amazes me. It's such an easy, controlled motion compared to a full swing, that you'd figure they'd have it permanently ingrained but nope.

Troy Queef posted:I really like that split-screen view Fox is doing on certain tee-shots. I haven't been able to watch any of Fox's coverage, but tee shot camera angles drive me insane. A couple years ago at the masters they were showing player's drives on 18 from the side. So the camera was pointing directly at the chest of the golfer. How friggin worthless is that? Can't see the fairway, can't get that little fraction of a glimpse of what direction the ball is headed, just their stupid belt buckles.
