Every time I hear the chorus of this song I can close my eyes and I'm 14 years old again. Looking forward to being a crotchety old person in a nursing home and blasting this in my room to annoy all the squares. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XB6opQ6ldyE

Boston was ruined for me in the past year when they licensed more than a feeling to a local casino's ads. Ran that poo poo into the ground. Also, fun fact: since they apparently still make music, the lead singer let his wife join the band

Tricky D posted:My Carry on My Wayward Son thread from last week was gassed because, presumably, the moderation team prefers Michael Bolton to fuckin' good-rear end rock. I can't speak for the other mods, but I have seen Boston, Kansas, Styx and Journey in concert. Also Iron Butterfly, Oingo Boingo, Dead Kennedys and Barry Manilow. Most of these were great concerts, though Manilow doesn't seem to get the concept of a power chord. We saw Boston at the Minnesota State Fair in 94 or 95. The fun part was watching the band shout "Get up!" and doing the stereotypical clapping over their heads. The audience stood, then, being old farts like myself, would sit back down shortly after. Brad Delp could not do his usual bouncing around the stage, as he had a knee brace on, due to a fall earlier in the week. Great show, otherwise, with a massive thunderstorm off in the distance. Close enough to be impressive, but not so close as to threaten our concert.
