Gonna suggest that LA should go in the bottom 3. Numbers can get there and clean it up this turn. Then we can proceed a little bit safer.

I think San Francisco on top is fine, it won't get any worse unless we hit another Epidemic and I can clear it out on my next turn.

Pretty sure we can't hit another epidemic already?

Yeah, but there's several turns before I can clear out SF if I'm clearing out LA first.

Earliest Epidemic we can see is card 19 and will happen between then and card 9. So by Stelas' turn at the earliest if we have exceptionally bad luck. There's also 5 black player cards left in the deck.

# San Francisco (Blue), Atlanta (Blue), Bagdhad (Black) # Santiago (Yellow), Los Angeles (Yellow), Delhi (Black) Santiago's the other one I'm a bit annoyed about because it's in the rear end-end of nowhere, but at least we'll have a yellow cure soon.

So I 100% have to hit LA on my turn or we're getting another Outbreak, right?

We can cure black next turn if we want to take a couple risks. If Stelas gets himself, Numbers and I to Baghdad, I can take Baghdad and give it and Moscow to Numbers for him to cure. berenzen fucked around with this message at 23:25 on Aug 4, 2016 |

We risk 2 turns of possibly pulling another epidemic. If one gets pulled, SF and Santiago are at risk. We only have 12 total turns left.

Blue Cube number is probably our most dangerous thing at the moment, but I think that's a good idea to just go for the clear. We can get away with sparking a bit of panic in SF because it's nice and close to a research station. Santiago is more annoying but since it's a 'dead end' in terms of map navigation I don't think it's too critical to let it get to 1.

This plan also gets me out of SF, so if an epidemic gets pulled, I don't get scarred.

OK, then, I think this is my best course of action. Move KIN-LAG CURE Yellow Treat Move LAG-SAO That puts me in the best position to move to Madrid or Santiago and treat if we really need to.

Good news come from the Lagos Research Center, as one of the teams fully maps the Yellow disease structure and develops and easy to manufacture cure. The residents of the city are the first to be treatred, proving without doubt the effectiveness of the cure. The celebration is cut short, however, as more news come from Middle East and India, warning about a sudden outburst of infections there. If the disease isn't controlled soon, a lot of people is going to die. Yellow disease Cured Jedit draws Tokyo (Red) and Milan (Blue) Infections on Riyadh, Chennai and Cairo (all Black) Early January, turn 14 Jedit Cures Yellow draws Essen (Blue) and Chennai (Black) Infections on Santiago (Yellow), Los Angeles (Yellow) and Delhi (Black) January Objective: Find the cures for the 3 "normal" diseases. Yeah, I'm thinking that. ## Move berenzen to Riyadh ## Warp to Riyadh ## Warp Numbers to Riyadh ## Treat Riyadh The other 4th option was giving berenzen Riyadh to save an action, but I don't think it significantly helps berenzen's turn and does carry a slight risk of 3 scars, which would royally suck.

You guys know that once you've cured a disease, the Medic automatically Treats all disease cubes in any city they move through, right? It's a power I used to great effect when I played, because you can get Four Treat Disease actions in one turn if you're lucky.

There are some interesting exploits depending on rules wording iirc. I believe the Medic's auto clear once cured triggers with the Dispatcher too if they're moved, but I'd have to double check. There's also another cute trick with the Dispatcher that's available later with an upgrade.

Tomorrow I'll try to write a quick summary of the rules and the special abilities of the characters and slap them in the OP for easy access. The Dispatcher/Medic/cure interaction is the less intuitive thing in the game, for now at least.

With the situation in Africa and South America under control, the CDC establishes its new base of operations in Riyadh. Most of their personnel moves there leaving the local teams to deal with CODA and the last yellow outbreaks for now. Surely with so much talent in the same place it's just a matter of time to find a cure. But do they have enough?
