So like two years ago a girl I was friends with a looooonnnnng time ago got outed as a high end escort by her former best friend. There was much embarrassment and shaming and she deleted her facebook account. I just noticed this evening that she had reactivated it and was actively posting again so I hit her up asking how she was doing and if she was still having trouble from that incident. She tells me that it sucked for a long time but 8 months ago she was retained by a "Saudi Oil Baron" and he's been paying her $10K a month plus expenses. So I guess it can pay to be a hooker.

Then I made the mistake of buying Fallout 4 and Dark Souls 3. Been nice knowing you sleep schedule and productivity. Also a few LEGO games for cooperative play. Did get the subframe off the F20C, drained the oil and got it hung from the engine hoist. Will try an initial test fit sometime this week. Promise I'm starting the thread soon. Potentially strange question but would storing a engine that's been drained of oil upside down for a while be an issue? I need to replace the oil sprayers in the oil pan (should be quick/easy) but I also need to fab a subframe. This would be a lot easier with the engine on a stand upside down. I'm assuming any residual oil could seep past the rings and fill up the cylinders but pulling the plugs or just putting it back right side up for a while would take care of this. I know you're talking about a book talking about a movie, but although lack of representation of Vietnamese people is a problem in Vietnam war movies, that position misses the point of Apocalypse Now because it isn't actually about Vietnam. What I'm saying is that's a dumb thing for an author to put in a book.

You can just use normal floor paint which is cheaper than the 2 pack epoxy stuff. I used this on a concrete garage floor - http://www.leylandtrade.com/products/product-detail/heavy-duty-floor-paint-.aspx Not as good as the epoxy but half the price and it is doing pretty well in my garage.

I would consider grinding or chiseling out any oily spots till you don't see any oil stain anymore, then washing with regular water and refilling with new mortar/cement maybe? Then acid wash the whole floor. Note: this is based on zero experience, just what I'd do if I was going to try and make it hold up. When/if we build a shop-garage-mahal, I'll be epoxying it the second the concrete's cured enough.

That's the garage, and meh. This is California and we have yearly fire inspections but the FD has never said anything about it. It's wooden clapboard and surrounded by tinderbox-dry drought-stricken pines that will go up like torches in a good neighborhood fire anyway. I keep it stacked a few inches off the siding to prevent rot/stain, and try to stack it tightly to prevent rat nests but that's a losing battle. Last good brushfire to hit this area was in 1994; my dad watched the fire race 50 yards up a green/vine-covered fenceline, jump twelve feet through the air to the opposite fenceline, and burrow into a mat of pine needles like lava before igniting lower branches on a pine tree. His firehose was short by about 50 feet so he couldn't soak it and just had to sit and watch. The whole house will combust due to ambient heat before that wood pile comes into play.
