Thanks to everyone who showed up to make GTAgoons on tour: GMod edition such a blast! I'm sure everyone has their own best moment from the crazy amount of duplicitious backstabbing that went on, like the Zelda rainstorm bloodbath or the three traitor team that pulled off the perfect round. I think my favourite bit was when Futon lengthily reasoned out who the last traitor was and where they were hiding, only to be blown away instantly by a SharkWaifuu who wasn't fooled by his lies  If we want to do this again - and consensus at the end was we do! - then there's good news, we've come up with a solution to the big problems of obnoxious pubbies and terrible servers. Watch this space...

Wish I'd redownloaded it in time for the shenanigans. Maybe I'd get more use out of it than Lollipop Chainsaw and Soul Calibur porn by playing with goons. Also, sweet holy gently caress Rockstar fix your loving netcode already. I'm tired of getting unknown network errors and netsplits. I also started a Discord for GTA goons. I'm new to discord but it seems that the added chat component also kind of acts like forums? Seems like it might be a good way to keep this, as dryer lint put it, lame gay gaming community together. It's not like we play GTA for its thrilling design and tight balance. We obviously enjoy kooky game types so this should facilitate finding and organizing around those in various games. https://discord.gg/e9t9y4G There's a thread for events, there's one for kicking it, there's one for gaming chat. It's essentially our mumble, but with persistent messages that won't get drowned out by connection status updates. I don't know if there are any other handy power tools in this but it will improve with people. Should make things simpler for those already using discord with other communities. I figure at some point there will be a critical mass of people and we'll just exodus to discord at some point in the future. Or we won't! Whatever. I'll see if geeves can put this in the op.

How's the Discord overlay? Any issues with Rockstar banning people because of it, like other programs with overlays? e: if we do another goon theft auto plays gmod night, and I host the server (gigabit), we need to do it within the next 14 days-ish. I'm probably moving soon. Also, we're going to have all the custom maps ready to go on a workshop collection. Everyone should subscribe and download it ahead of time instead of downloading it from the server. There will be a new mechanic, as well, to customize your choppers. Sounds great! I can't wait to see the first million dollar motorcycle.
