Wolves got outscored in the 2nd half again, but got a huge lead in the 1st half to not make it matter. Only they blown that kind of situation before, and it's really worrying. Is it an endurance thing?

It's mostly the fact that they're just not that good and right now that fact is generally laid bare in the second half. They'll start losing games in first half too, just gotta wait for a bigger sample size

That's mostly on the players, I think Thibs is getting them used to being coached as a veteran team. Still, tonight was a win by 16 so the quarter by quarter numbers aren't that important.

For Wolves fans, the 62-win Bulls team in 2010-11 started off like 9-8. Takes a little while to learn his defensive system and for him to figure who will and won't run it properly. They'll have a top-10 defense by season's end. He's already made strides in that area from last year.

Rockets are starting off the season pretty respectably aside from the defense. It's early days yet, but Dekker's 3 point shot isn't half bad. He can't drive for poo poo at the NBA level though.

McDermott's had one 3-pointer in his last 5 games. The guy can't defend at all. So how about running a play that gets him an open look? Hoiberg is just so clueless. Still can't figure out offensive/defensive subs late, still doesn't understand the NBA timeout rules, still doesn't understand anything about his personnel.

James Posey my rear end. Wiggins is TS% is 57% on almost 30% Usage. He is hitting 2 3s a game only take 3.1, meaning HE IS LEADING THE LEAGUE IN 3 POINT PERCENTAGE AT 63% (after 7 games). Please do not look at his rebounding or assist numbers, thanks. LaVine is putting up some border-line all-star numbers to start the season as well, hitting 3 3s a game at 49%. But, young team and things are taking a while to click. Nice to see blowouts in wins and close games in losses. If Rubio comes back they might, Dunn/Tyus makes no sense but Rubio/Tyus would or Rubio/Dunn sort of does if you want to try death by cutters with Wiggins and Shabazz. Brandon Rush has been total trash so Thibs might start getting creative.
