Bill King is finally going to the Hall of Fame. King was the iconic voice of the Raiders from the 60s-90s and was my introduction to listening to sports on the radio. He also called As games for 25 years and the Warriors. I got to appreciate him as I got older and watched hours and hours of NFL Films programming. He coined the term "Holy Toledo" and is one of only two announcers with both a Super Bowl and World Series ring as a broadcaster. I got to meet him at the SF Exploratorium in '97 by happenstance, very gracious man and probably the only time in my life I was star struck. He passed in '05.
