I'm using Mercurio's URWLified version of Nevada Skies, so I'm using the Nevada ENB Realism preset. I've also got Dynavision3 installed, so I've been playing around with the bloom and mood settings there to create a more refined image. I'm really going for the sun bleached look, but it's a work in progress as I mess with the saturation and contrast sliders.

I can't get Borderless Windowed mode via ENB. This (recommended by the F&L STEP guide) code:

Oh, I'm sure the mod will be released. I just hope it'll be released as a stand-alone rather than as part of a giant compilation. Dammit, I just wanted hit markers in Fallout: New Vegas, I didn't need a hundred other functionalities as part of the project.

I cannot for the life of me get rid of the aliasing with ENB running. Nothing in the control panel works to fix it.

Do you happen to have an AMD card? I had problems with what you're describing after ENB was updated at some point. You could try using an older version of ENB. I never had this problem when I switched to Nvidia. Boris has mentioned what poo poo AMD is before so~

Haven't figured out windowed mode, but this here's an ENB I think is pretty good. Lucent 2.0 I turn off DoF and enable AO. Doesn't seem to affect my performance much - still mostly above 60.

Bleh, now I've become cognizant of the stutter problem, and the Remover isn't fixing it.

So I think I've got the best AA I can out of enb. I put both the edge and accumulative AA on in the emb menu. After that, go to the injector ini. in the new Vegas folder and set smaa to ultra. Then go to the sweetfx settings ini and change fxaa to 1. It still gets jagged on a lot of places but it is much better than the initial settings. Also, disable Anisotropic Filtering in Enblocal and instead crank it with the game launcher, and then crank it further with the nvidia control panel. It looks way better than the ENB version. You will end up getting something looking like this: Arc Hammer fucked around with this message at 22:20 on Dec 12, 2016 |

Thanks Arcsquad12. I did just that. Game is looking real good now. I just need to find a subtle DoF effect and I'll be happy.

So is it just me or is the third-person crosshair pretty significantly misaligned? I thought it was just weapon spread for awhile, but after some testing it seems like I can only hit things consistently in third person if I aim a centimeter or two to the left of them. I'm using a shitload of mods though, so it may legitimately just be me.

double postin' some screenshots for an early intelligence implant run freeside open (New Vegas Uncut from Github) and the TTW version of Streetlights (Simple Streetlights) - will have to grab a few shots of this at night. using ugrids at 7 and new vegas landscape overhaul remade + fnvlodgen/tes4 landscape texture generator. also realistic wasteland lighting enhanced

Arcsquad12 posted:I tried using u grids to load 7 but with free side open it just tanked yeah I tried at 9 but that basically will kill the engine with any sort of additional graphical mods/textures Freeside works fine for me at 7, mostly thanks to ENBoost. With ENBoost, I can get 25 FPS minimum in the freeside worldspace - without it only 12-20 FPS.

I get about 35-40, but it fluctuates so severely I'm thinking of capping my fps at 40 just to make it tolerable.

It's just me, but I'd rather deal with a partitioned Freeside/NV if it means I get 60fps.

The sense of scale that FSO creates makes that a hard sell for me. If I removed uncut wasteland I'd easily get my 60fps in Freeside, but that is another hard sell.

I'm curious, has anyone here ever used this animation project mod that purports to add new custom animation and gameplay functions? Most of that stuff looks uninteresting to me, but I have to say I dig the idea of additional animations for grabbing objects and sprinting. That said, the sprint is incompatible with other mods' sprint, and I have no idea how it's been balanced gameplay-wise.

It just came out a few days ago, but it is pretty impressive. Worth noting you can turn everything on/off without any issue in the MCM for it. I'm not using it, yet, but I probably will throw it into my load order at some point. Also check out the Lazarus Project, which adds some really well done QOL features to the game from Fallout 4 (real time weapon wheel that saves weapon hotkeys even when leaving casinos, etc.)

I think the most jarring thing whenever I turn on NV after a while, is the complete lack of enemy reaction animations when they're hit (if it's not lethal). That and feel of the weapons themselves. But I'm guessing that's an engine issue, and/or something that would require a lot of work.

ENB question time. Sometimes when I go into a building, the interior enb looks super hosed up. It loads normally, and then somehow disables effects, leaving the room incredibly dark. Disabling and re enabling the ENB from the ingame menu doesn't seem to fix it.

I feel like I'm going crazy with this mod (Lutana NVSE Plugin ) http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55399/ Other mods want version "13 or up", but no matter how I install it it's just not being found. The author / people in the thread are saying lots of stuff about how everyone with issues is just installing it wrong but I've tried multiple install methods, locations, and versions and nothing changes. I attempted to ask nicely on the forums and just get more "you are doing it wrong" and I just don't see what the issue is. Does anyone actually have this working right now?

Light Gun Man posted:I feel like I'm going crazy with this mod (Lutana NVSE Plugin ) http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55399/ The problem is with the version number of lutana: 19.0b5 is not a number. That b5 is confusing code that's trying to do a check like if 13 < 19.0b5 which simply won't work. So either get the mod that's using lutana to fix its version checking or wait until lutana hits version 19.0 or 19.1. Or ask the lutana dude not to put the b5 in the version. Or find an older version - I may have 17 or 18 lying around, can't check now.
