How much do you want it? ;-*
14 karat gold!

I'd like to place the order today (but if you still want to pitch in, an extra $10-$20 to help cover the remaining costs would help me a lot!) Here's the tag art I put together. I don't have much time to work on it, ironically because I'm busy wrapping up some more GCCX merch art before my trip. Please let me know if I accidentally left out a flag.

UPDATE: Order placed! 48,600 yen for the premium double-decker. Thank you everyone who helped make this possible!

Next game is one starring a "dragon"

Specifically, they're using the English word dragon written in katakana, so I don't think it's a literal dragon they're talking about. My guess is Double Dragon 2.

Welp, there goes my free time for a this week...

If the translator happens to read this, a big thank you for the effort to him/her/them, since it's been a bit slow on the translation front otherwise and I needs my kacho fix. Plus the Minecraft series 1 was incredibly entertaining, I have high hopes for this one too.

I stayed home sick from work today so I watched the entire season 2. It was very enjoyable, and everything I saw in the translation that I still understand via listening seemed spot on. I don't think whoever did this or season 1 ever named themselves, but I hope they know they are appreciated, whoever they are.

Also sorry to ask if I asked this before, but what is the difference between "hardcoded" and "softsubbed"?

Hardcoded means the subtitles are baked directly into the video and you can't take them off the screen to see what's behind them under any circumstances. Softsubbed means that the subtitles are on a separate, toggle-able subtitle track from the video that's (usually) automatically overlaid onto the video by your video player of choice.

One thing that stood out to me was when Hamaguchi starts calling the blazes "Potato" it's because that's the word used for French Fries. Just one of those cases where the loanword doesn't accurately reflect the thing being referenced.

Be aware that some hardware won't properly display softcoded subs. I watch these through a thing called an Oppo, and it just displays gibberish, if anything. Granted, it's from like 2013 or something, so maybe newer stuff works better. Haven't tried on my Roku.

For Yoiko Minecraft S2, it's pretty great how their God of Creation and God of Destruction personas come into play with Arino making ladders and Hamaguchi blowing himself up destroying the Ender things.

It's sort of like poetry; they rhyme.
