Pretty loud, both on the initial HPB and when the umps confirmed the call that it didn't hit the bat (which is something that seems to come up a lot for the Twins this year.) Also if anyone pays for the BBRef fancy poo poo they could look up how common it is, but just a casual google makes it appear pretty dang uncommon. Mariano Rivera apparently did it once and it was the first time in several years.

Maybe he put on 10 lbs from his time in Pittsburgh to the end of his career? He made it a point not to bulk up at all since he swore that his power came from flexibility.

Why are there even IL games in September? Next year the Astros close the season against the Braves. All September games should be divisional. And for an even hotter take: the only time the NL and AL should play each other is the AS game and the WS
