It's hard to say for sure, but in the past CR has started streaming movies around the same time as Japanese home video launches (Thunderbolt Fantasy movies being the example I'm thinking of) so I wouldn't be surprised if the Konosuba movie follows suit

I watched this tonight, it was a pretty funny and even heartwarming movie at times, even if it got really raunchy at moments. It was also nice learning more about Megumin's family, her clan, and her relationship with Yunyun, and seeing her and Kazuma has some genuine character moments with each other.

I love both the Crimson Demons and Sylvia. I can see why everyone ships Kazuma and Megumin now. The part where she squirms onto his chest under the futon was ridiculously cute.

i get the feeling turning this into a movie was a mistake since they seemed to have rewritten the ending fight to make it feel more like a movie. which of course means they had to cut the early side story the book had  also it means they cut out the fact that Komekko is a kill stealing jerk  great movie othervise.
