Watching Herb Jones be a real player has been just an absolute joy. He is a killer player to have on the floor with anyone who can pass the ball to a player on the move. He is great at timing his cuts and finding open space and his set-shot is reliable enough that I'm good when he takes one.

He can also do just enough ball-handling so that if someone closes out on him, he can get past them and to the rim with good enough vision to hit the open man if his path is blocked.

Definitely one of those role-player all-stars kinds of guys. Like, he's not an actual all-star. But if the league was only made up of role-players, he would be up there. If not now, then in a couple years.

also technically beasley’s statement allows for the possibility that other people that can’t guard him are being born within that ten second timespan (i.e. “i wake up every week ready to eat some minutes off the bench” does not preclude him from waking up 7 times that week and being ready to eat minutes off the bench)

Not me, if I ever stumbled into that kind of money I'm getting a mansion on an Idaho lake next to John Stockton and playing handball with Jake Plummer, you'll never hear from me again. At least not me personally, I will employ an assistant who's job will be to come post "Mark Cuban can eat my rear end" after every Mavs loss

It's still hard to believe that Jerry Buss started out as a Chemistry professor at USC but managed to make enough money in his original side hustle of investing in SoCal real estate that he ended up with the Lakers all to himself.

Myles Turner would be the dream pairing with AD. If Pelinka had played his hand better he might even have the assets to pull the deal off.

Maybe about 6-7 years ago. Aaron Nelson of Suns fame has been the lead guy since the Zion draft.

I don't know why I bother ever getting invested in my hometown team. It only brings pain. All the highs are met with even deeper lows. Why can't they just be a normal team????
