That’s part of what makes this so great as a topic. You’re gonna get sports fandom as a synonym for civic membership. A good movie could do that critically and take it in a really interesting direction. What we’ll probably get is that idea uncritically, and spending money for luxury sports tickets will be presented as the antidote to ethnic cleansing.
