I know for a fact that on one of the later shows with Dr. Bruce, it went: "LOVELINE with Adam Carolla and where's Dr. Drew?"

I can't wait to listen to today's podcast. Marc Maron's podcast is my favourite podcast these days, and I was wondering when they would get together. Hopefully Adam lets him get some words in.

I think it's the same as the one with "How tall is the door?". It was the one with some of the dumbest callers.

It was around 2001 or 2002, I'm pretty sure, and it was definitely Dr. Bruce.

Re: Carolla's Podcast

I just started listening at the start of December and caught up with some of the big names I wanted to hear. Lately though it seems all he's doing are these loving improv shows and it seems it's all just a grab for cash and not interviewing interesting people. 2010 is off to a lovely start. Hell, the only good thing lately was the Roddy Piper interview (and thats cause he was raised here in my city which was mentioned -- Winnipeg).

He hasn't been getting a whole lot of guests lately. I actually like the home improvement shows now that I'm going to be a home owner.

At the improv, it's more about stand up than interviews. I like the interviews a bit better, but when they were bad, they were worse. It's going to wax and wane in quality over time. Not much can be done about that.

I thought Marc Maron wasn't a bad guest at all even though I don't like his podcast. The only cringe-worthy part was near the beginning when Adam started talking about how successful his pay-model was.

I wish he let Marc get more talk time. I do think that Marc sat back a bit. It is probably hard to get a word in with Adam when he gets going.

It is near unbelievable at times the amount of the show taken up by Adam interrupting and saying "I do this" or "One time I" or some variation of talking about himself. I know it is his drat podcast but why have a guest, just have callers call in and ask him questions so he can talk about himself. That is the good stuff.

My issue with today's podcast was that he cut off Marc to take phone calls, and then took phone calls that had nothing to do with Marc.

Harland Williams is such a drat good guest on everything he does. Better on LL than Carolla podcast most the time also which is odd to me.

It was a Dr. Bruce episode sometime pre-may of 2003.

Where does this come from originally? Because Adam tells her to say it, so what is he referencing?

Drew is also adamant that she's the A B C D... girl but she denies it.

Pretty sure it was a catchphrase Jell-O used back in the 70s.

That's why I switched from this podcast to Harland's. First couple weren't great but that was understandable since he was trying to get into the groove. Things like the Christmas and Thanksgiving parade were really good.

I'd rather listen to Adam on Loveline but then I like those types of shows anyway. hosed up callers are always amusing.

Adam is co-hosting the Petros & Money Show right now for the next three hours with Matt "Money" Smith.

I've noticed that podcast callers are way more coherent than the average Loveline caller. I can't really figure out why. I mean, it's the difference between 90% of Loveline callers being astonishingly stupid, and 10% of podcast callers giving a stoner vibe.

You know the whole "there's a huge difference between Loveline callers and Loveline listeners" thing? The podcast callers are Loveline listeners. People who were fans of Adam/the show but never would have called in with a problem or question.

The kind of person who thinks "just pull out" is a form of birth control, that's the kind of person who would listen to the radio at midnight and decide to call in with a question. That's not the kind of person who downloads podcasts to listen to during their commute to work, you know? I'd bet the average caller isn't even really aware of the podcast. The listeners, who were fans of Adam and the show in general, those are the people who are following the podcast and would take the time to call.

I used FlyCast on my Blackberry to stream Loveline on my hour and a half commute to and from work everyday. I have been driving in silence the past two days because the stream won't pickup.

Where, oh where, is the Loveline stream? Surely it can't be too hard to get one up and running.
