Pumpkin McPastry posted:Jose Abreu socked two more dingers today off of Dickey. Trying not to fall in love too hard. I haven't tuned into Chicago sports talk radio since the end of the football season, but I sure as hell will when there is any slight chink in his armor. The making GBS threads all over everything will be classic, because that's what Chicago fans do.

Plus, I'd rather have a young bad pitcher with 2 years of control left than an old bad pitcher with 0. Does Frieri have options left?

How are infield flies scored? Just F6 or F4? They don't actually need to record the putout, right? They could just let it fall to the ground. It's not ever "in play," so is it like a sacrifice or what? As an aside, this is the first baseball game with a DH I've ever scored, and holy poo poo my card has never looked cleaner. Second Aside: I honestly believe if Rodney had blown the save Cano would have tried to get out in another way, possibly by runner's interference or something. He was getting creative towards the end. Third Aside: lol soft-hitting contact player DH'ing leadoff. He hit the game's only homerun anyway. Shrecknet fucked around with this message at 08:06 on Jun 28, 2014 |
