The greatest compliment I can give this film is that it was just like watching the comics. I love the books dearly, and seeing such an accurate translation of them is just a gift. Everything was just absolutely spot-on. All of the visuals were gorgeous, and the movie really transplanted you into the comics. I'll agree with the fact that the film must have just barely slipped past an NC-17 rating. Blood, gore, and tits abound. Unfortunately, I have to run, but I'll try to add to this more later. 5 out of 5.5
