Getting back into The Only Way Is Essex, I can't believe there are 9 series already. I'm just now finishing series 2.

Since I'm a terrible person, I enjoyed the first 2 seasons of The Only Way Is Essex. My question is, with 7 seasons up on Hulu, at what point does the show no longer even have entertainment value?

I just finished watching through all the episodes of 8 out of 10 Cats since Jon Richardson joined the show. The episode immediately following Jimmy Carr's tax scandal was pure gold.

I went to see him live based on seeing him on 8 out of 10, and all the things Jimmy Carr makes fun of him for seem to be true. He's really ocd, at the start he put a hat stand at one side of the stage and a table at the other, and said it was so when he got stressed he starts pacing back and forth and if he didnt have things to stop him he'd end up just walking off stage. Then in the middle of his big closing the 1st half story he stopped at a crucial part because he got distracted by the shapes the microphone wire was making on the floor.
That's the venue's fault for not providing him with a wireless mic. :colbert:

What's wrong with the lighting or makeup though? Everyone looked sick in these two episodes. They somehow managed to make Rachel Riley look bad, it's unbelievable.
Watching the first episode, I think it's primarily makeup. I can't imagine they changed the studio lights, but it's perfectly reasonable they got a new makeup artist.

More flattering picture, still terrible makeup:

I watched Iain Stewart's Earth series. I can't stand his face or voice; he reminds me of Wormtail from Harry Poter. And the programme wase educationally lacking.

Basically I want those 5 hours back.

Also I tried to watch How Not to Live Your Life and had to cut loose after 5 minutes.

Finished s2 of The Missing. Partway through e7 I assumed there weren't any more twists, and it was a slow patch so I decided to read the episode summary on Wikipedia. Big mistake.

After e7 finished, I read the e8 summary. I guess I was one episode early, because that was the expected denouement.

Very excellent. Not sure I'm willing to go back and watch the James Nesbitt s1 though.

It's like a novelty knockoff of a show trying to depict almost the exact same themes, but doing so in such a hamfisted way.

I just finished episode 2 and i don't think i can be really bothered watching the rest of it if it's going to be the same trite garbage.
Ironically, many in the Westworld thread were complaining that Humans had done the concept before and better.
