I'm really loving Jelly Bean on my Nexus S now, it runs wonderfully. But I really dislike the gray Google search bar (see pic). I want it transparent like it was in ICS. How can I make this happen? (or just remove it altogether is okay too)

You can disable & remove the search bar completely by going in to Settings > Manage Apps > All > Google Search > Disable
The remaining grey bar will be gone the next time you reboot. This will also turn off your phone's search button, and Jelly Bean's addition of Google Now.
I miss none of these things but ymmv.

I'm going to get the N4 soon and had a question about UCCW. Is it possible to make a non-standard clock - if you've ever seen the Nooka watches, they have something like this, for example a 3x4 grid with the number of dots filled representing the hour.

There's a few really sleek looking binary clock skins, if you're into that.

What's a good Android-formatted wallpaper resource? Most of the ones I find on the app store are the same tired memes over and over, and ones I get from non-Android sources aren't formatted to fit correctly. I'm desperate for a new background- I've been rocking a SHIELD logo for a year now.

Your wallpaper's resolution + "wallpaper" in a google search.

Well it basically requires access to every possible thing your phone can do in order to run as a launcher, so...
