Peacefully oblivious, Annie and Kat row back to the shore with arrow in hand to find all their friends' heads on spikes and Jeanne waiting for them. Then they row back across to the forest side to find Ysengrin telling them that they can't come ashore because they've been tainted by the arrow's energy. The comic changes names to Annan Waters and follows the pair as they live the rest of their lives on a tiny rowboat eating river fish to survive.

To be fair, they basically magic-drugged her and made Parley pretend to be her longtime friend with the eventual goal to get rid of her and steal her stuff. She'd probably be pissed, even if she wasn't a death specter, I sure would be.
