I got a bit of a windfall so I wanna get a stick. I was gonna get the vlx Kuro but that thing is heavy as gently caress and I want something I can take to events. What's the word on sticks that are relatively small but have replaceable parts?

The Tekken 7 FR location test is being streamed all day Japan time: http://www.twitch.tv/tekken Akuma's raging demon looks like it its unblockable, but you can jump to avoid it just like Street Fighter. Either that or people aren't blocking it.

Where did you see that? On the Steam store it makes it sound like it has a vanilla CP mode but not some kind of Hyper Street Fighter edition select thing

Even if I somehow read the store page wrong too, based on screenshots the game's edition is picked from the main menu and not from character select. Theres no way to pit CP Kokonoe against CT Rachel

Installed the Brook Universal board this week. Installation went pretty smooth considering my lack of experience wiring anything. So far it's worked great - only had trouble with the cracked SF5 beta on someone else's PC - The PC could find the controller but the game wouldn't (although the crack has a lot of controller issues). Don't remember if it thought it was Xbox One or a PS4 pad. Anyway, I would recommend the board to anyone who's been on the fence.

SFV Good/Bad: Do you actually care about "competitive play"? If No, then gently caress it it's Street Fighter, it's pretty (arguable) and combos are easy, it's Good. Do you like gambling? If Yes, then sure, it's Good, this game is all about hard reads as of now. Do you like setplay/knockdown bullshit? If Yes, game is Bad, you get poo poo from most situations and situational stuff from the few "hard" knockdowns. Do you like footsies? If Yes, SFV is all about the neutral game, it's Good. Do you like ACTUALLY getting rewarded for good footsies? If Yes, then game is Bad, because the only way you're getting something is off a hard read on neutral (a jump-in/dash-in/Crush Counter). Do you think people that throw fireballs all day from the other side of the screen are trash? If Yes, game is Good, it hates people that do that too. Do you belong to the group that would pick Sagat and infuriate your friends by sitting of the other side of the screen chucking plasma? If Yes, game is Bad, it hates you.
