Is there any way to see how much we have spent on the market overall? I am curious to see how much I have spent, seems like every day I buy an app or game that I never play or use. Oh well, at least I'm supporting the developers.

poo poo, according to appbrain I've spent a total of $176 on stuff in the market. About 90% of my purchases were impulse buys. Thank god I don't use Steam.

XIII posted:So, still wondering. Or would this be a question better suited for the tablet thread? Regarding Swiftkey 3 on a tablet, using the non tablet version will give an ugly and poorly dimensioned keyboard. Didn't even end up using it due to the fact it was so ugly, I ended up buying the tablet version.

uapyro posted:Doesn't Apex do this without another App installed? I thought I remember seeing a number over some Google icon in the past Yup, it's under the advanced settings of Apex, you can set missed call count, unread SMS count, and unread Gmail count and which are the associated apps, but not anything else (i.e. podcast downloads, new tweets, etc.). Apex is pretty great, haven't tried Nova though, only Trebuchet.

In other news, the "Beaver" browser, everyone's favourite browser for Much more discreet for third parties that play with the phone, and continues to be great for those hard core kitty viewing sessions.

Splizwarf posted:Pretty sure putting "Private" in the name makes that a step sideways instead of forward. True, and the full version is called "Frost - Browser & Image Hider", which will surely raise some questions when seen by people playing with the phone, nothing more piques a persons curiosity than something "hidden". (I can hear SOs from all over the world already asking "what do you need to hide from me?")

Splizwarf posted:Did Autostarts used to be free? I used it for several months but don't currently have it installed, and Google thinks I haven't bought it so I'm trying to figure out wtf. Not that I know of, Autostarts was one of the first apps I purchased about two years ago, there is the possibility that you acquired it in a sale though.

Wow, that's an absolutely fantastic idea, I think I might be stealing that one for myself. Unfortunately we use a horribly out of date version of Lotus Notes at work (a leading investment bank, go figure), so will have to find another app.

Kinkajou posted:Is there an app that can keep track of when items go on sale? Say the items are kept in a wish list and the app tracks prices across multiple sites, then sends me an alert when something goes on sale. Anything like that? Yup, look up AppSales in the play store. Does exactly what you're looking for.
