Rageaholic Monkey posted:Also, I used to produce music under the moniker "Aetherius" (I'm still producing...currently working on a new album, but under a new alias), and one of my albums under that name was completely ambient. It was influenced by Helios, Aphex Twin's ambient stuff, Brian Eno, Eluvium and more. I really like everything on your Bandcamp, ambient or otherwise. Keep up the awesome work! Any ETA for the new album? Do you think you'll offer it on the name your price model? You should get paid for this!

Awesome. Keep us posted! To contribute to the thread: I recently got into electronic music, and discovered Benn Jordan, aka The Flashbulb. He has a pretty extensive back catalog on his bandcamp, and while most of his music is more glitchy/jazzy than ambient, his tribute album to the late, great Carl Sagan, Pale Blue Dot, is an real spaced out treat. I can't really think of any standout tracks because I think the whole thing is really cohesive, but check this out if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXpCuE5vjMY Rush_shirt fucked around with this message at 06:01 on Mar 31, 2012 |

slardel posted:Hi ambient thread, I just finished my 3rd EP, it falls somewhere between ambient, downtempo, and hip hop, except for the 4th track. but maybe you'll like that one too. Those are not my sounds. Those are not my sounds at all. (Those are some pretty sick sounds, though.)
