Gunamn Clive is a lot more like Mega Man than Metal Slug or Sunset Riders. I thought it was a fun little game for two dollars. Great 3D and art style, imo

Great 3D and art style, imo Yeah, that's my assessment. It's about as long as any random NES game except not as hard due to not using lives. For two bucks it's a charming little toy. I was sitting around sick in bed one day and wanted something new to play and it did the job nicely.

Legacy Collection is mediocre, it only has 6 games and two of them aren't at all fun to play. It has a music player but you have to sit in the menu to keep playing them. The challenges are dumb as hell and don't offer anything interesting besides the leaderboards which are pretty buggy. Also the audio balancing for the menu sucks. All the best Mega Man games are on other systems. Like the Zero series and the Gameboy ones

But yeah the leaderboards are buggy. They'll get fixed.

All the best Mega Man games are on other systems. Like the Zero series and the Gameboy ones "It only has 6 games"... that cost you $30 at VC prices, or $45+ if you buy the actual carts (not including an NES with adequate cables). There is no way to get Mega Man 1-6 today for $15... and I'm realizing that I'm being trolled. No one can prefer the GB games over the NES.

Fremry posted:and I'm realizing that I'm being trolled. No one can prefer the GB games over the NES. Have you actually played III, IV, and V? They are loving awesome games. The NES Mega Mans were uneven early on because the devs were still figuring the series out, and got boring later on because the devs figured things out and started churning out stale releases until a new console game out and they decided to move on to bigger and better things that Capcom could run into the ground. The GB games are polished, well-designed, and improve on the NES games.

If you're really desperate, you can unlink your NNID, format your system, set it to UK, buy the game, set it to AU, re-link your NNID, redownload all your games, re-add all your friends and get them all to re-add your new friend code and then beat all your games again because your saves are gone.
