He is starting to get annoyed, it was bad enough this halfling had the gall to threaten them but to then not get pushed off the train like a good little halfling, smack Thorgeisl in the face with his tiny fist, and try to blind Thorgeisl? He is really pushing Thorgeisl's buttons. Thorgeisl steams, and acid begins to pool around his hands. He narrows his eyes at Viti and snarls. "How do you like this?" He then unleashes a ray of acid toward the mobile halfling. Fort Save vs Blinding 1d20+9 25 Arcane Bolt (ranged touch) - acid vs Viti 1d20+8 18 vs touch AC. For 6d6+5 27 Acid damage.

It seems likely it was set to go off anyway and Viti was lying to get a chance to try and run as it goes off. Either way Thorgeisl is unhappy. He glares at Vanessa. "You should have let him die. Deal with him yourself now." He then flies off after Hecate.

Looks this dwarf over, shakes his head and flies off in a different direction. He flies off the train, while keeping pace. The lines up a shot on the dwarf's back. Once more acid boils around is arms before streaking out toward the dwarf. Fly to C-41. Arcane Bolt (ranged touch) - acid vs Calryn 1d20+8 22 vs touch AC. For 6d6+5 30 Acid damage.

He then lines up another shot of acid on the dwarf's back. Fly to F-41. Arcane Bolt (ranged touch) - acid vs Calryn 1d20+8 13 vs touch AC. For 6d6+5 24 Acid damage. Well that was a low roll, still a touch attack so hopefully it will hit.

Drow Sign. Celestial, Infernal, Abyssal Well that didn't work as well as he would have liked. Thorgeisl quietly curses under his breath, then swings around to get behind the dwarf again. Once more he calls upon his elemental abilities and flings a ray of acid at the dwarf's back. But the shot is even wider than the last and fails to connect again. Thorgeisl's cursing begins to get a bit louder as flying about seems to be throwing his aim off. Fly to F-37. Arcane Bolt (ranged touch) - acid vs Calryn 1d20+8 10 vs touch AC. For 6d6+5 31 Acid damage. ...Seriously orokos why you got to hate me?

He flies about to the dwarf's back again and with a roar of fury he fires yet another ray of acid, and finally connects. Quite handily at that. Fly to E-42. Arcane Bolt (ranged touch) - acid vs Calryn 1d20+8 28 natural 20! vs touch AC. For 6d6+5 25 Acid damage. Roll to confirm 18 vs touch AC. If that confirms then the damage goes up from 25 to 50 Acid damage.

Drow Sign. Celestial, Infernal, Abyssal Well that hurt, and Thorgeisl is pissed. Visibly so. Steam is washing off his body as strange sigils glow red along his skin. Sparks flash from his eyes and winter chill escapes his lips as he hisses in pain and anger. "BASTARD DWARF YOU SHALL RUE THIS DAY!" He goes hurtling through the air along the train, first heading toward the still moving sections of the train searching for the escaped Calryn. Reflex saves 2#1d20+4 9 and 14 yeah Reflex is not Thor's strong point, that said Fire Resist 10. Fly toward the next cart looking for that punk Calryn.

Drow Sign. Celestial, Infernal, Abyssal Thorgeisl is sent flying, tumbling and falling. He rolls some and ends up some distance away. He is hurt and annoyed, but the initial explosion sending him flying meant that he avoided the far worse reactive blast. He slowly rises to his feet, shaking his head, then looks up at the train car. He grits his teeth and flies back up and makes his way back to the train. While doing so he shouts to Hecate. "I don't suppose you have anything particularly unpleasant planned for this one? Maybe causing his limbs to slowly succumb to necrosis while he coughs up his lungs?" Reflex Save 1d20+4 5 yeah natural 1, would have needed a natural 20 to succeed but this is the exact opposite. Stand then fly back up to E-23, if I have any more movement/actions left then fly into the train and try to position myself some distance behind the dwarf.

Hovering over the body he makes certain the dwarf is dead, then spits on the body. "Good riddance." Then he begins to look around. "Everyone okay? Marisa?" He is particularly worried about Marisa because she made a suicidal, but brave, head-on attack on the dwarf. He looks up to Phous, then turns away and mutters, "a bit late aren't you?"

At first Phous seemed humorous, but he is starting to annoy Thorgeisl quite a bit with his pompous, arrogant, attitude, a fine thing when pointed at someone else but rather a different matter when aimed his way. At the talk of Illithid tainted. His eyes narrow, and before Phous can leave he reaches out with his senses, trying to feel the taint the human claims clings to the dwarf, but in the process also trying to see if Phous himself or his half-elf companion carry that same taint. Perhaps he is a little disappointed, Phous was starting to annoy even him and it would have felt good to be able to turn on the rear end. He contemplates doing so anyway, but if Phous isn't actually tainted by the illithid then such an action would likely have consequences that Thorgeisl didn't want to deal with. Yet. He continues to search for magical auras as he makes his way back inside, and toward his cabin. Once he settles down and gets something to eat, a rather frightening amount, and drink, again quite a bit, he will finally stop concentrating on searching for auras. Then he settles in to sleep, still finding it odd how much sleep he needs now. But then again he is not wearing the ring anymore.

He worries that Phous is taking all the credit. Then a pair of dwarf, children? walk up to him. He turns to look at them, and is about to ask how they get flowers down here, or how they could already have information on the attack let alone have a paper out on it. But instead Marisa begins throwing gold coins around. He sighs and gives his head a sad little shake. Still he is curious what the paper could possibly have. But he holds his curiosity in check as he follows Marisa to see what the commotion is about.

Then he blinks again as he senses the animosity between the dwarf with the strange name and Vanessa. It takes him a moment before he recognizes the form as the one Hecate took. The thought of the Tasting Tour had driven it from his mind for a moment, and really what was up with that name? Donald? Wafflebeard? Preposterous.

"Hmm? Oh they are cheating people, probably a reason why their customers are mostly clueless humans. The brews are all the same, and watered down at that. The biggest difference between the brews is the Honeybrew and that is only because they add a bunch of honey and sugars to it to sweeten it." He glances at Vanessa, "we should be careful about this information as it could potentially start a riot, particularly if there were any Dwarves who had been partaking and somehow unaware that it was just watered down Dwarven ale."

He also goes about procuring a ticket for the first Dwarven Comedy. How could he not attend such an event? The nicer the seating the better. Then he spends his free time strolling the city, exploring its sights, and trying to figure out where the others went and just what their plan for the evening actually would be. Maybe they will try to speak to Goldbrew at the event? Or kidnap him. Or maybe they will do something else. They are hardly a predictable lot, except that anything dead and knowledgeable will likely end up reanimated.

He pays the pittance for a ticket, then begins to wander about to try all the concessions. It will be awhile before the play starts, and he has no idea where everyone else is. Though he suspects at least a few of them would be showing up to the play, probably. And at the very least this Goldbrew should be. Hmm. What does Goldbrew look like? Maybe someone should have told him before he started this whole thing. Oh well he can leave that to the others. There is a play to see, a Dwarven Comedy at that. It should be a monumental event, and hilarious one way or another. But first time to sample as many different foods and drinks as possible. Okay pay the 5 silver to get a ticket, then go on a sample binge for all the concessions, all of them.

He can't really answer all the questions, but then again who can, crazy dwarves and their reams of papers and questions. But when it all boils down to the point where it is clear that they suspect him and the others of summoning the Blood Orbs he just stops and looks them in the eye. "I was having a good time, watching your very first comedy, which I might add is a monumental event, when I witnessed a massive weapon slam into a balcony, someone then falling, and when I went to help I witnessed these floating globes of what looked like blood. I went to work on stopping them, because they looked unnatural and a threat to my fellow playgoers. And after dealing with these blood globes you come along and accuse me of sinking to such pathetic levels as summoning something like that?"

Drow Sign. Celestial, Infernal, Abyssal, Goblin. Well that was rather annoying, thankfully Vanessa managed to handle it before Thorgeisl went off the deep end. He is just glad to get out of there. He follows Vanessa and Thadius to some alley, certainly the best place to discuss clandestine matters. He listens to Thadius' report. "...keeping tabs on their .... friends. Could that mean they are keeping tabs on us somehow we are unaware of? And this thing about targeting diplomats in the City Below. Goldbrew is involved. Could there be something in the brew that I missed? Or in the goblets one drinks from, or casks that they travel in, that could effect those who drink it? I have wondered how they can get away with serving watered down dwarven ale for all their brews and not get a riot going from the many dwarves who have presumably tried it."

Drow Sign. Celestial, Infernal, Abyssal, Goblin. Thorgeisl's day has gone from pretty good to unintentionally hilarious and filled with a historic event, to pretty annoying rather quickly. He makes sure the others, that are still nearby and that he knows where they are, likely Vanessa at least, know how to reach him. Then he returns to wear he was staying, he will be retiring for the night, likely after some more binge eating. And he can only hope the next day turns out better.

Well the cat could be something taking on the form of a cat to spy on them. Or it could just be a normal cat. He tries to check it for magic himself, just in case. But he suspects the cat is just a normal cat. Either way they can't let this interfere with their work. "We can deal with the cat as necessary, but either way you two need to work together."

Drow Sign. Celestial, Infernal, Abyssal, Goblin. Thorgeisl waits for Vanessa to put away her cat. Then he raises an eyebrow as she scrawls the message. He turns toward Thadius. "I am intrigued by your plan. Is there anything I can do to help? Read some scrolls? Fly to a hard to reach location?" He tries to keep his words vague so that any eavesdroppers would not know what the actual plan might be, but he is beginning to grow bored down here and needs to find something to do. And with everyone keeping their plans secret he isn't even sure how they plan to go about accomplishing their plans.

Thorgeisl is a bit surprised at the difficulty of attaining a few simple scrolls, then again an underground city might be rather worried about to what use one would put a stone shape spell to. Invisibility would probably not be available either. Then again Thadius did manage to acquire a scroll of earth elemental. And the elemental can glide in and place the explosives both itself. And Thorgeisl did go on a tour of the brewery so he should have a pretty good idea of where to send the elemental. He nods to Thadius. "Yes we should probably try and all meet up, or at least all of us we can find. Haven't seen any sign of a few recently." Then he goes about trying to meet up with Marisa and setting up a meeting for everyone at her hideout.

Drow Sign. Celestial, Infernal, Abyssal, Goblin. The cat fight eventually ends and the group heads out, only to spot and be spotted by more cats. Cats that bolt rather suspiciously in multiple directions, almost as if they were keeping watch. Thorgeisl really begins to wonder if killing the cats might have been a better idea after all. Still the group continues to the brewery, only to find the twins that had apparently entertained Thadius, as well as a halfling and a whole lot of cats. Yeah. More cats. Thorgeisl backs off, letting Marisa and Vanessa take the lead, and hopefully having the twins and halfling, and especially the cats, lose track of him. He is sorely tempted to just attack, but Marisa seems to have something planned as she starts talking quite a bit. That is not the only thing that stays his hand, he worries that this may be a set up, that this halfling may have alerted the guard to the would be arson.

Thorgeisl does not know if Richard is right or not, but he hardly cares for what Barnabus had been doing. So he lifted in the air, leaving the reach of cats and catmen, and then from his new position launches a ball of flame at the cats, Catbad, and the twins. "Sorry you were getting a bit full of hot air there." Fly up out of reach of any retaliation, hopefully. Then use Arcane Burst to produce a 20ft radius of Arcane Bolt, going with fire, and trying to hit CATBAD, the twins and as many cats as possible, while also centering it such that it doesn't hit Vanessa or Marisa. Arcane Burst (ranged touch) - fire vs CATBAD, the twins, and any cats in the area 6#1d20+9 18, 28, 15, 10, 26, 17 for 6d6+5 27 Fire damage. Taunt.

Drow Sign. Celestial, Infernal, Abyssal, Goblin. Well that did not go well. Thorgeisl grimaces and tries to escape to the air. Once there he tries to set up another shot to take out as many enemies as possible, but finds that many shots would involve hitting one of his allies, eventually he settles on taking out as many of the cats as he can, as well as setting the giant cat on fire. Attempt to Fly up out of reach, though this likely means opportunity attacks. Once high enough to hopefully avoid any more retaliation use Arcane Burst to produce a 20ft radius of Arcane Bolt, going with fire, and trying to hit Snickerdoodle and 18 squares of Cats! Drow Sign. Celestial, Infernal, Abyssal, Goblin. Thorgeisl wakes back up just in time to get a face full of pain. He grimaces and then tries to figure out a way to get up, and away, without drawing an attack from the strange catthing. . Reflex Save 1d20+4 12 so Thorgeisl takes the 18 damage, presumably reduced by his DR 4 to 14. Putting him at 19 hp. Try to stand/move in such a way to avoid provoking an attack of opportunity. Not sure if there is a disengage option or if a 5 foot step can be taken when prone or something like that.

Drow Sign. Celestial, Infernal, Abyssal, Goblin. Thorgeisl is in pain, and really has no options. But at least it seems few enemies are next to him at the moment. So he tries to risk it by standing and trying to move away from the cats. With any luck they will miss him. Stand from prone. If the Attack of Opportunity misses then convert standard to move to move to K-22. If I managed to get fly off at some point then include some vertical movement in that to try and get out of everyone's reach.
