Yea, once I watched a few episodes of it enough times I realized it is pretty entertaining. Though a goon once said "Oh you need to know this certain part of Georgia to get it" really put me off for a long time. What the gently caress would you make a tv show that only about 200k people would get, and most are all hillbillies.
Knowing about the Georgia hills is a prerequisite for watching Squidbillies only in the same sense that knowing about rural/suburban Texas is a prerequisite for watching King of the Hill: it really isn't, but it does enhance the experience to an extent when you catch a few extra in-jokes.

Let's face facts, Hatred really isn't their bodyguard at this point. He's just another hosed up member of the household.

Yeah, from my point of view Hank's voice is way higher and more enthusiastic, and if he did a "high class accent" it'd be all sarcastic and wouldn't sound like St. Cloud at all. I just don't hear it.

I'd prefer more Brock and less Hatred. I like Hatred but more as a recurring character than as supporting.
Someone needs to formally take his place as the bodyguard so he can formally take his place as the Team Mom with a pistol he uses sometimes.

I bought the hell out of the Guild of Calamitous Intent shirt when it was out, and it's been a central cog in my casual wardrobe ever since.

Probably not going to wear the OSI shirt because it's not, you know, black and red (really the Guild shirt was drat perfect), but it'll get some use. It's not all pastelly or anything at least.

The Sovereign is totally David Bowie, the guy Brock met is just the Sovereign's David Bowie body double who he sends in his place to events when he's too busy planning super-villainy sometimes.

The Sovereign may also be another, inscrutable thing on top of being David Bowie, and David Bowie may just be his Bruce Wayne-esque alter ego, but he's totally David Bowie.

Wasn't the Action Man described as a super soldier? I wonder there's a connection between him and Hatred.
In terms of Venture-universe super soldiers, Action Man is probably the Captain America of this continuity, and Hatred is just one of the many horribly failed attempts to reproduce the flukish experiment that made him.
