Man, normally I hate "The Dinner Game" style stories, but this may have been one of the best Halloween episodes ever. Rivaled only by last years amazing one.

I wasn't sure how anyone could make a better Halloween episode than "Full Bars," but Bob and Linda's wordless glance leading to an abortive trick or treating venture might have put this one over the top. I'm so glad Bob's resists taking the super wacky approach to doing a Hallowe'en episode and instead keeps it on its usual level. It's obviously really tempting to go off timeline and do something super spooky (like classic Simpsons did and American Dad did last night), but having it be just a normal story about Bob, Linda and the kids made it awesome. One of my favourite episodes I think.
