You can "Liberate India" as a 100 warscore wargoal vs Britain, but it's pretty much unthinkable. You'd pretty much need an alliance of France and civilized China vs an already weakened Britain to have a serious chance at pulling it off.

Doable in NNM as France. Bait armies into Dunkirk for easy ws then occupy the British Isles.

I'd prefer the former, as long as it reads compellingly, and not just a long list of clerical bullet points. Unless it'd take away from other parts of the update, which would require more knowledge to make that decision :shrug:

Yeah, those events can be killer if you're taking out loans, but they're also kinda bugged. Basically they can get you to default even if you could loan the amount to cover it. Usually reload when that happens just because it's so crippling.

By the way, I stumbled upon this in the Paradox thread.

From back in May. It's still one of my proudest accomplishments in V2. Maybe, if this thread does another game, I should play in Latin America again.

If I may make a suggestion, try a Divergences game as Beornia and reclaim England. I've been trying to do it in HoD, and I haven't been able to so far.

As for a harder start, I'd be fine with Bolivia 1836 because my experience has been like yours: I've never actually played them but every game I see them get utterly wrecked by all of their neighbors.

I like tags with obvious downsides but significant potential upside if you can get past their obvious weakness. Zulu, as absurd as it is, has an outside shot of becoming very, very powerful if it can survive the opening of the game. Something like Haiti...not so much.

Poland, if given all of Poland, would be absurdly powerful, and would likely be able to mess Russia or the rather rump-ish Prussia up on day one. To make Poland fair you'd need to say that I only get the Russian parts of Poland or only the Prussian parts of Poland.
