Speed Gaming, formerly RattleSnake.int, formerly Kaipi, are the new kids on the block. Surprised everyone upsetting Team DK in the finals of MLG Columbus, they recently signed an agreement with Chinese organizations RattleSnake and will be playing in ~~China~~somewhere in 2014. They dont play the prettiest Dota, but they understand how to grind out small advantages, and how to turn that in to wins.

I'm catching up on the NSL VODs right now and Korean Dota owns. And by owns I mean EOT just picked best hero Dazzle and therefore are the best team.

It is crazy how 4 NA pub stars + a kinda bad ex-NA pro are completely dismantling the Koreans though. I guess they haven't played the very best Korean teams yet but almost all of their games so far have been ~20 minute blowouts.

The game they played today wasn't even against a Korean team.

But yes, they did beat 'Don't Die Remikz' and 'Korean Doto Best Doto' in the qualifiers

Demons team banning storm in the first round in both games was pretty hilarious and I'm looking forward to more Korean teams trying out that strategy. Blitz is definitely noticeably worse on non-storm heroes.

I have no clue either, but the Startale guys is a pretty legit good team. They were at raidcall and played three fairly competitive games against Western teams. A bit of a shame that their sponsor dropped them.

You are either seriously underestimating Alliance or overestimating Speed. Alliance have been choking a bit in finals, but they've still been winning a lot overall and it's not as if Speed has been looking amazing post-MLG.

Yeah, a lot of people initially thought the Meepo changes were a buff when 6.79 launched. The Tranquil nerf hit him pretty hard as well.

Is S4 still the guy calling the shots in the game or did Loda take over that role as well? I've always thought that S4 having to lead his team is one reason why he often struggles in the lane.
