You pussies listened to Mudvayne, Linkin Park, Korn, etc?

HAAAA! Slipknot was way more hardcore. :colbert:

(8 years ago, this statement wouldn't have been ironic)

Awwww come on! The family values tour was awesome! Green Day was awesome! Rise-Against was fantastic live. Anti-Flag was the poo poo and I still listen to Rage Against the Machine.

One thing I don't do is bother with their actual (stupid as poo poo) political opinions. 15 years ago, my white, upper-middle class self totally cared about the struggle of the Zapatistas! (Just not enough to actually do anything.)

Rise Rise was unarguably the best Rammstein song!

But yea, Slipknot was legitimately cringe-worthy.

Nobody has mentioned HIM and pentaheart tattoos, yet. But of course everyone who has one/listens to them was totally into HIM before CKY.

/\ As I Lay Dying and Norma Jean are loving awesome.

Now that "EDM" has become popular, every douchecannon is writing spiteful blog posts about how becoming mainstream has ruined the techno culture and now that the selfie song and Animals is out, techno is dead forever.

Let us not forget that these songs happened a few years prior to the electronic boom in the United States.

Every remix of that stupid popcorn song and multiple versions of the Tetris theme. Your choices were Armin van Burren, Benassi Bros, Daft Punk and garbage gamer trance uploaded to Kazaa.

Being in a serious raiding guild in WoW. I mean, it was kinda fun, but at some point I realized I was scheduling around raidtimes, and that it had essentially become a part time job that I wasn't getting paid for.
Also was pretty into Gunbound for a few years, which really just wasn't that great a game. After a while it kinda ended up being more about hanging out with buddies on Ventrilo though, so I guess that's ok.

Gunbound was pretty drat fun. I'd rather tell people I play Gunbound and be like "Here it is. Yup, it's pretty much a cutsie version of Worms." vs "I play World of Warcraft. It's pretty much loving World of Warcraft."
