It's a good beer. Light and refreshing. A rush of hops greets the first drink and tantalizes the palate. The second drink is even more sublime, a medley of grains and time. One imagines the Czech countryside. Compared to more renown beers, PBR is of course always scorned. But I encourage you to reconsider it. It's great! I give PBR an 84 on Redshirt's Rankings. Enjoy!

Every time I drink PBR I think of Blue Velvet so it's ok in my book. Steel Reserve is where it's really happenin' though.

pbr is an american adjunct lager like bud and pretty much every other major beer in the US but is like the only one without additives which is why a lot of people don't like it because american adjunct lagers are thin, lovely beers when not pumped full of additives, but beer snobs will still drink it on the daily because it is cheap and technically a real beer. it is still better than bud imo.
