Fina posted:I'd like to see weapon attachments or mods added to the game that you'd buy separately from the weapon. It could add a little extra money sink for those players who already have the weapon of their choice, or allow a weapon to fill different roles depending on how you want to play. For example you could buy a flashlight attachment, a different scope, or extended magazines. Perhaps attachments/mods could be tied to classes and cheaper to those of the correct class. So Sharpshooters would get discounts for long range scopes across a variety of weapons, close-range sights for support, maybe even medic dart attachments for medics, or bayonets for berserkers. It'd be really awesome if the Firebugs could get dragon's breath ammo for shotguns (like with the trenchgun)and stuff to give the different perks more flexibility.

I would love an attachment system that plays fast and loose with realism and practicality as everyone has said. I love playing as a commando with guns like the M4. If I could spend more money to give it extended mags, a medic dart, and wicked sick skins/misc stat improvements I would have a reason to not be rolling in thousands by the end of the game. Not to mention is brings a risk and reward system into the game. Spend money to survive better, or save up in case you die. An attachment system is probably the best thing that could happen to KF I think.

Isn't that basically what the branching perk choice system is for? It would be pretty lame I'd you could get all of the bonuses for one clase.

Nothing wrong with them being not nearly as effective as a class perk. Or maybe certain attachments are free for a class while others could cost a ton, replacing most %better bonuses in the process, but that is complicated and stupid. I just want more gun porn in my killing floor.

I would absolutely love to see different end bosses as well as perhaps some mid wave minibosses, as well as zeds with some more "creative" abilities and or different variations on existing zeds, like...crawlers that can weave webs that slow you down or trap you until you break the web; bloats that projectile vomit globs of area-denial goo; zeds that pull you toward them; (okay, this is starting to sound like Left 4 Dead, but they do have a good and interesting variety of special infected) some kind of weird conglomerate zed that's made up of like, 4 clots piggybacking on a bigger, more muscular clot (like the poison headcrabs in HL2), etc. And you wouldn't get the same zeds every time you play, say there were a pool of 12 different zeds each with at least one variation, you would only see a different combination of 8 of those zeds of either of the variations each game.

I'd be worried about easy visual identification, depending on how varied and random we're talking. Though I suppose they are splitting Clots up into different variants already (or is the Slasher the new Gorefast? I don't remember). Related to identification of zeds, though: Some kind of easy to use shout button to call out high priority threats, instead of having to type "fp" every single time, or rely on a microphone, or fumble through the voice trees.

I'd like the L4D call out system that highlights a target for a short time. This obviously wouldn't work on stalkers. A special zed id like to see would be a shambling horror of like 4 clots stuck together with like 5 arms for better grabbing and a face right in the middle so you can't headshot it.

So long as KF2 allows you to get to the console you could make text macros just like you could in the first KF. That way you can say whatever you like and bind it to whatever key you like. I mean, they could make it more user-friendly in KF2, but I doubt we'll lose that functionality if they don't explicitly put it in.

That enemy would be loving sweet as Killing Floor's take on the Archvile from Doom. Give it an aoe zed-reviving scream that can pick up fallen zeds, and really show off that gore system by having twice-dead corpses shambling after you with limbs and heads missing. Then if you kill the reviver it'd be like cutting the puppet's strings and they all fall limp. Until another one shows up.

Beautifully made, very detailed, and Keith himself was quick and courteous. Highly recommended if you ever decide to go on an art splurge. And to avoid being entirely off topic, please don't implement a Payday 2 system of unlocks. The card system is infuriating for those who can't get some random unlock they really want. I think I played for like two months until I got a silencer. The grind above level 80-90 is also really terrible.

Puddles of organic goo and slime that collect from the corpses of dead clots and combine and coagulate to form some kind of super clot. Just go totally outrageous with the specimens. Different end bosses would be fun. If they each had their own gimmicks or movement patterns then it would change up tactics depending on maps. One suggestion I have about the UI would be the area that displays ammo count. With guns that use clips if you reload a partial clip the game still counts it as 1 full clip until you actually reload and then it will show its count. If there can be a way of indicating that you only have a partial clip left.

Due to this change, the first wave won’t feel like such a throwaway. All perks still have passive abilities that grow through experience, but now every five levels you get a pair of perk skills to choose from. The first choice for Commando is between Night Vision goggles and Call Out, which allows teammates to see cloaked zeds from farther away. Support characters can choose a skill called Supplier that allows each player to reload from their backpack once per round. These skill choices help to allow players to tailor their own style to each perk and forces them to choose between self and group buffs. I like the idea of more ways to play, so hopefully these choices are always difficult and none of the skills are an obvious “gimme.” quote:When researching guns for the game, they realized that weapons with extreme rates of fire were hard to animate smoothly. Their solution was to animate these guns at 200 frames per second so that when in slow motion the weapons still have a high level of fidelity. Now you can see things as minute as the barrel wiggling with each shot. quote:There’s also a gear tab in the lobby menu. I asked if these were simply for skins like in the previous game or if there was more to it, and they said they had “no comment at the moment, but if you look at the new screenshots, you’ll notice that the same characters are wearing different clothes.” I’m not sure how new gear is earned or if it does anything besides provide new cosmetic options, but I’m sure we’ll be hearing more about that soon. quote:During the course of the demo, when a certain amount of Zeds were killed, a message flashed across the screen saying “Tier Unlocked.” Perhaps you can’t buy high tier weapons until you’ve killed enough Zeds? http://bloody-disgusting.com/news/3307245/bullets-blades-blood-killing-floor-2-squeamish/ quote:In the first Killing Floor, each class came with a pair of specialties that had to be used in order to level the character up. For example, to level up a Support class character, you had to spend a lot of time with the shotgun and welding tool. To make this a bit less frustrating, Killing Floor 2 introduces something called Unified XP Earning so you only have to focus on one to gain XP for both. http://www.gametrailers.com/videos/5tdhho/killing-floor-2-eyes-on
