I guess I need to rewatch the fight, but I recall the first 3 rounds being Weidman domination whereas the fifth had both guys land a bunch because their defense was suffering due to exhaustion.

Very few people fight that smart. It wasn't just fighting smart, but preparing smart. He seemed to have developed a style of footwork which allowed him to control Machida on the feet with positioning. At times I thought he was aping Machida's style except he moved towards the opponent with it instead of backwards. Someone tell me I'm nuts.

Jones/Shad for example was 2012 and that one was no good There was one between Condit and Hendricks that was pretty boring mainly because the opponent was completely outclassed in every way.
