Also, in the good ending, you can summon demons to be garbage men, effectively creating a weekend, make drugs to make everyone in Daria happy, rehabilitate every prisoner with Enchantment and use Healing to cure the common cold.

At wizard school you can choose different schools as your favorite class, with each one providing some sort of optional bonus when the game gets to that particular class. -Alchemy means you're able to create a super potion which provides +15 to Body or Personality; as far as I know it's the only way to get a troll or goblin to a high-enough Personality to successfully pull off some of the later Personality checks (like seducing the Royal Family) -Conjuration means you're at the top of your class in dueling and you can choose to either be nice about it for some personality bonus or be a jerk about it -Divination lets you easily pass the class and also gives you dreams of old battlefields for a History and Warfare bonus -Enchantment means you easily dominate the person's mind and generally demean him for a faction bonus -Healing doesn't actually have any classes, but they set up a healing school just for you -Illusion lets you perform a staggeringly good show that gives a faction bonus -Necromancy lets you join the secret necromancer society like we saw -Summoning lets you summon an imp to serve as your familiar, and also provides a Will bonus -Transmutation lets you turn your statue into flawless ruby, and you can either sell it or give it to the royal family for a faction bonus Probably one of the better schools to specialize in is Conjuration since it comes up often and you can use it to bypass the snake attack in school- if you don't have Conjuration, a good Fighting skill or 30+ Will then you're going to get bit and eat a body penalty. If you do have 30+ Will then you can get a snake familiar out it, which you can later use to frighten the dudes who are bothering customers at the tavern. I think you can only get the unicorn if your character hasn't slept with anyone (though making out with people left and right is totally ok). The unicorn also flies and can be used to heal the king because it's totally magical like that. (I don't think the dragon is all that useful in comparison because by the time you get it you have like two places left that you can use it in). When elves attack the village you get the grove encounter, when orcs attack you just get the warg mount (which kind of sucks), but when dwarves attack you get the option to go looking for their enchanted forge. You have a variety of options such as divining its location, but one of the funniest is to simply get tanked by outdrinking the dwarves and going to look for it after they've passed out. It can be used to upgrade your weapons or your golem, or you can study its magic for +25 to Smithing and Transmutation, which means that if you haven't dumped those skills then you can probably make a huge swath of the magic items to boost your companions' skills. Anyone know how you become the archbishop?

Halfling theif, comes from wherever. Golem or Half-orc fighter. Half-orc would have to be childhood friend/bully/lover Cleric I haven't seen a race that matters, but it seems like putting the person you're dating there gives clerics a boost.

Looking through the scripts, it looks like the Bully, if a Half-orc or Dwarf, starts out at level 4. The Golem starts out at level 3. A Halfling bully friend is the best thief, starting at level 4. And like Amnistar says, race doesn't matter. The only thing that gives a boost is having them be your friend from the acadamy, which lets them start at level 3. Howver, you only get the achievement if you set up the party like Pazuzu says code:

I got all the way to the golden age conference but because I didn't have a dwarf friend I didn't have a good escort. Gutting to get all the way and screw it up at the last steps.

I liked the 'Bumbling Necro-Dad' title myself. Something about it was super endearing. I also just realized that we never got a familiar this entire time. Kinda messed up there.

Well, it does offer a way better option for when your asked to study something. You get the option to "Continue Druidic Studies" or something like that, which is I think +20 to Nature, Alchemy, Transmutation, and one other I can't remember. The nature is almost redundant since you're already super high if you're a druid, but if your low on the others, it's a really good boost and could probably hit a lot more 100% skills that way.

I believe being arch druid gets you a couple extra peace points at the end (as I recall, everyone's trashing the environment and fighting wars and stuff. You ask them to stop. They do), not sure what happens if you want to conquer the world. But let's be honest here: if you've managed to be the arch-druid, you probably don't need them.

Life of a Mobster is a pretty good game. It's the same sort of setup as Life of a Wizard, where you start out as a kid and work your way up (and then fail miserably because you haven't gotten the right combination of skills earlier on). Walter also made the game Paradox Factor, which is also pretty good (you're a time traveler, hopping back and forth through time trying to fix your life).
