Doctors/scientist are just as terrible as regular people or worse as history has shown. People that are gender confused make up such a small percentage of the population no one should be forced to cater to them, as far as i'm concerned they are the same level of human as a retard.

Like more and more states are legalizing gay marriage, that's kind of inevitable. sexism and racism are still obviously real but they're on a more subtle institutional level that makes it hard to find specific incidents/causes to rally around. But transgender rights are a new frontier of discrimination to fight and social progress to be made so you get gen y's all over the country tripping over themselves to make transgender rights a big issue in their student bodies even though no one involved has GID.

no for real though, GID is a real thing, you know, doctors, people trained to determine this stuff and people who are generally smarter than you or I have found this to be the case after building on, well, millennia of accumulated medical knowledge and study of the human body it is, in fact, possible to be born with a brain that is wired to be in a body the opposite sex of what you are you're also wrong in saying that gender is not a cultural construct. it is. as mentioned here, some cultures do have non-binary concepts of gender, though to my knowledge most of them can be more accurately explained as having more than one "type" of each gender. more importantly, though, gender concerns more than just what sex you are, which is why things concepts like "tomboy" exist. but I'm thinking we'll agree in that this is where the ambiguity ends, ultimately you are either male or female. if you don't identify with the body parts you were born with, cool whatever idgaf but I'm not going to pay you any mind if you start making up bullshit concepts out of whole cloth just to be extra special.
