Josh Lyman posted:I think the problem is that the air traffic control tower can't communicate with the planes and the pilots don't know what's going on with the airport - terrorism, ebola outbreak, etc. With 50+ planes in the sky, they need guidance for orderly landings. Given how busy the average airport is this is a real issue in the world. Why radio wouldn't work I don't know.
