Whether or not he actually thinks of himself as "one of the 5 smartest people on the planet" isn't clear but given the tone of the show if he has any creative control then he's a deluded man child. Is he actually really rich? Or, more appropriately, was he already really rich before this awful show got greenlit? Nothing about him screams wild success, and it seems like he was working normal tech industry jobs up until pretty recently. This whole thing is loving fascinating and I'd love to read an honest account of how this show actually came about.
