A sounds pretty entertaining, but are you interested at all in doing runs from the earlier start dates, like the 1066 or Old Gods or even Charlemagne start? If so, I'd probably have some write-in ideas. Edit: spelling

If possible, I'd recommend playing as Americanist New York. In 0.2, I played a game back when the Republic was called Gotham, and it was great fun. I'd heavily recommend it, especially so since you're in a great position for when the Redcoats arrive. Edit: Changing my vote to Louisianne.
