I mean, if you're a successful actress and you go out of the house in a skirt and without underwear, knowing that paparazzi are just waiting for opportunities like this and that it has happened many times before, then there's really nobody you can blame for it but yourself.
I know Diggers. I only ever owned a demo, but it's probably what gave me a taste for the whole "build mines and dig up resources like a filthy dwarf" genre. The sequel was also pretty cool.

Scorched Earth-
I think it's rather well known maybe? It's the only game the computer came with and we had to run it from visual-basic compiler or some poo poo. It's like Worms but with tank things.
Understatement. It's the progenítor of the genre.

So there is a first game after all! Rage of Mages 2 is my favourite discount game from the bargain bin. Astoundingly fun for something with no PR, no reviews and no budget.

GOG has it preconfigured in a dosbox for 5$.

It's obscure enough. People don't talk about it anywhere near as much as they should (constantly).

Edit: Don't play the new one, though (Battlegrounds). It's awful. The people who made it are barely literate and they made the Jaguar look like an actual catman thing.
Tried that when it was new. gently caress it's bad.
