and how boring and slow this show is nothing happens. every episode is a bunch of guys in suits taking 4-hour lunches, smoking 200 cigarettes indoors and drinking liquor every 15 minutes all throughout the day. then cheating on their wives. the entire show is basically "life in '50s America was great if you were a straight white anglo-saxon male and poo poo for everyone else". every person on the show is an unlikable scumbag. the next episode sneek peeks don't make any sense. people who like this show are probably insufferable, boring snobs IRL people who like this show probably don't drink beer or coffee because they "don't like the taste" people who like this show would get sorted into hufflepuff I like the actual actors and actresses and the other work they've done (jon hamm seeks p cool) and the set design and production values are quite impressive but this show is completely overrated the only 2 things I can remember is that british guy hanging himself and don draper getting caught banging linda cardellini I await butthurt goons telling me I "don't get it" and telling me to watch the big bang theory instead

I liked Mad Men for the first few seasons but it got a little old for me and I stopped watching. I highly suggest watching at least the first 2 seasons.

Heh. Op made it farther than I have in the show and I enjoy it. I think the OP is puttin' on airs. It's fun seeing a main character who's still a little unlike able. Sometimes you're like "ya. You nailed that pitch." And other times you're like "don't take a pill some loving draft dodger druggies are giving you. That's stupid."

First season was boring as gently caress, but the second season--I saw one episode and Don Draper got some Jewish girl to shut up about some poo poo by stuffing his hand up her cooch in a hallway during a dinner party and I thought well I don't really know what I thought but I watched that whole episode and that's my Mad Men story
