there's a mod for fallout new vegas where crit kills with plasma weapons leave behind a green skeleton and some goo. there's probably a similar mod for skyrim and this hypothetical mod is really good

is there a mod that lets you get drunk in one of the many bars, and you kind of get weepy and you can complain to the bartender about teh various things inyour life that are getting you down? and then he has to call you a cab when it's time to close up? or a carriage, i guess. i dunno i'm not really into skyrim

skyui is really nice because bethesda are incapable of doing proper uis. also the mod that changes the map from being all 3D into being something written on old parchment (I really like that one) the mod that increases clarity of textures. i also have a mod that changes the colour curves and makes it a bit more vibrant. i have more that are decent and not standard nexus "lets add breasts to those breasts" mods but i am not at home so will have to tell later

SKSE SkyUI definitely must-have SPERG or some combat rehauler; Requiem if you hate yourself Enhanced Cities pretty much any of the Immersive mods (Immersive Guard Dialogue, Immersive Patrols, Immersive Armor, etc.) LOOT Skyrim Flora Overhaul Grass and Grass RaceMenu Ethereal Elven Overhaul (elves look less like rear end but still resemble TES elves) Populated Cities/Inns an ENB; I change mine a lot depending on what I feel like. and I usually get some kind of skin mod so the people don't look plastic. There's like a better map mod with roads and stuff too that I always get. If you go on the Nexus there is also a "Combined Textures" mod that pretty much lets you download a poo poo ton of textures, then merges them all to make the whole game look awesome.

The mods that change all of the combat into something that doesn't feel like swatting empty paper bags and also updates the dungeons to something more than just Skeleton/Spider dungeons, and the one that fixes all the hosed up Bethesda faces and lovely stupid dragons, OP.

When I played right after launch I had some version of deadly dragons and it made that plot-encounter with Alduin on the mountain impossible, he would just one shot me immediately. It was very immersive imo.

Sometimes I feel like Bethesda isn't releasing a game so much as a basis for people to make mods with since it takes so much to get it working well.
