I just watched Bad Santa yesterday and I really liked it as usual. However the Director's Cut was missing a few scenes I really liked, such as Thurman kicking the bully in the nuts. I thought that was a much better payoff than him simply cleaning dried blood off his driveway.

Then I looked at that list. gently caress. The ratio of stuff that's remotely well liked is probably under 5-10%. So I think I might have to agree. A few diamonds in the rough can't really save 2014, even if they were pretty good.

ED: I forgot how Guardians and the Galaxy went up against about a month and a half of the worst reviewed movies in years, there's no surprise it steamrolled everything.

But, according to the actor, no matter how many times he’s required to disrobe on camera, nude scenes never get any easier.

“I don’t know if I’ll ever really get used to seeing myself naked on screen, but I understand it’s part of the job and part of telling a story,” he said. “When there’s no reason for it and it feels silly, then I get a little squirrelly — which has happened. But it all makes sense here. I’m really curious to hear what people think of this movie.”
