My dad is not the most stoic of individuals but I have actually only ever seen him cry at his brother's wedding, when he made a little toast to him. Any recent events I will discount because he is under the influence of a lot of cancer related drugs etc including hormone suppressants. Its hard to see someone who isn't themself anymore but still kinda is.

I can only really remember one specific time seeing my dad cry and it was right after the death of my stepfather. It was very strange to seems him show that kind of emotion because normally he was a person who hid his emotions well.
