The only single time I went and saw a Mountain State Wrestling show despite living in the state it was filmed in and knowing the people who shot the thing, I met Beau James. And good god he is a loving shithead.

Former WWE stars nobody wanted to see having one-off matches at random indie shows are about the saddest thing ever. No one wants to see Snitzky, he probably wasn't involved in any kind of story, and they probably paid a whole lot of money for the novelty of saying "Former WWE Superstar" on the posters.

The RAW before the rumble up until the RAW after WM are pretty much the only ones worth watching all year, the rest might as well be the "Off season" of the WWE because nothing loving happens. I can see why people want to boycott RAW, I read the open letter about it destroying the Wrestling industry if the very top suffers and disgusts people, but the better time to do it would probably be Summerslam

Isn't Chikara supposed to be awesome? They have a show about an hour away next month. Ringside is 40 bucks...I might have to see if I can get a friend who is down. General admission is 20 bucks, but man I'm gonna go big and sit in the front row for 20 bucks more.

I've been to a few Chikara shows and it's great just sitting in general admission, getting a second row seat, and not being dove on top of.

I watched TNA put up the Six Sides of Steel at a house show using zip ties, Gabe needs to invest in Zip Ties.

I also saw two hours of IWA East Coast building an entire cage made out of barbed wire. No steel, just wire.

No matter how fat Chris Hero has been in his career, he's had seemingly limitless stamina and cardio. When he wrestled in West Virginia he was in a one hour match in a building that was basically an oven, 80 degrees without any circulation. The wrestling mat was so wet it looked like it had been rained on. And the guy never slowed down for a second.

Does anyone even remember that the "Slow-mo" spot was Daron Corbin's? Joey said Danshoku Dino suggested the spot, and he's been doing the dick/gay gimmick almost as long as Eddy has so it's possible it was total coincidence that just happened to catch on at the right place/right time.
