Well this'll probably be the last time we see Tokarski for a while. Also Emelin sucks dicks, but what else is new.

Isn't it supposed to be called African American history month? Also I'd just like to say how much I appreciate TV networks playing their little jingle just before going to commercial, it lets me know exactly when to turn the game off so I never have to see or hear a single second of a commercial

This game has already had more emotion than the last dozen or so Wild/Canucks games combined.

Everyone on earth knows what Michel Therrien's all about, right? If you have a lazy bad team he's the perfect guy to whip them into shape. He also cannot resist turtling to protect a lead, or turtling to protect a tie right from the opening faceoff, or turtling to protect a one goal deficit just in case the other team accidentally scores on itself. He's a known quantity, is what I'm saying. I'm also saying he's been in Montreal a few years now so his poo poo has run its course and sometime this month is the correct time to fire him.

I said it in Friday's GDT, the Penguins do this thing about twice a year where they completely forget how to score for two weeks. You may recall the 2013 conference finals for instance. They'll eventually go "oh yeah, THAT'S how you do it!" Also they did win Friday when it appeared right up to near the end they were never going to score, so.

Yeah this is looking like one of those games that just slipped away at this point. Kind of goes to show you just how important Price's play is to the Habs success, but at the same time you can't win them all, particularly in these weird back to back matinee situations.

It worked in Pittsburgh for a few years too, so clearly goaltending isn't the secret ingredient

I would take john tortorella and dan cloutier back at this point. in both cases, the canucks will end up losing and looking like fools at season's end, but at least in Cloutorella world, I would be entertained by it instead of bored
