I can make a really good tomatoe sause to use in pasta my gf bought me an electric meat grinder for christmas, i asked for a hand cranked one to really get into the visceral feeling of pulverising meats, but whatever theres this dope ramen joint next to where i live, i want to make a really rich hearty chicken broth soon to relish my tastebuds i can make a nice sweet potato hash with gently poached eggs for breakfast and i just learned to make a pasta carbonara. soften some onion in clarified butter for about 7-10 mins get some pork fats in there too, bacon or pancetta, throw in some garlic, and just before it begins burning throw in ur recently boiled pasta to sizzle all the flavors together. then take a whisked cup of eggs and throw a shitload of parmajina cheese in it, and just throw that raw egg right in there. stir that egg, wait for a nice cummy consistency and dig in! how bout you guys??? any home cooks around here?? whats the deal with that cooking, haha!!!

Well last night for dinner with the gf I baked off a chicken I dry rubbed in some pretty typical seasonings and cooked some onions, greenbeans, mushrooms, and carrots all cut in thick slices beneath the chicken to catch drippings. Turned out pretty bomb, took less than 30 mins of prepwork, and cost like 6 bucks I'd say it was a solid dinner.

I'm a pretty decent cook, I have a great eye for ingredients, nimble, strong fingers and great low-light vision that means most nights i can have something with a tyre iron shoved through it cooking over my smouldering oil drum that's the envy of all the other guys living in this underpass

i am becoming decent at vegetarian cooking because my girlfriend is a vegetarian. i can make a portabella mushroom gravy that is better than any meat gravy i have had. i also make the best goddamn sweet italian sausages ever. but i am bad at meringues and pastry. really bad.
