this is Thunk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwDjD8adVy8 Thunk has been visiting our house every day for the last 3 weeks. several times a day. at several different windows and doors. many theories have been suggested for why he insists on slamming his face against our windows over and over and over. the most recent theory is that Thunk is lonely. that he needs a friend. so lets see if we can find him a friend. the first thing we need to determine what kind of bird he is and see if i can find him the right kind of friend to this end, i took this still from the video.  *twists head and squints* you know who he reminds me of?  yeah exactly. ok. so now we know what we have to do.   ok good, but maybe not friendly enough  much better  mental note, buy more black ink for the printer ok let's put this bad boy up and see what happens  perfect everyone cross your fingers. i hope this works

this is a legitimate conversation that just happened in my house *son walks into the house after school* SON: why's that picture on the door? DUCKIE: he's thunk's friend SON: ... *daughter hears this and comes into the room* DAUGHTER: you know that thunk's just a bird right? DUCKIE: yes, that's why his friend is a bird SON and DAUGHTER: ... i just heard my daughter on the phone with dad asking him when he was coming home :/

Jett posted:they make uv reflective decals you can put on your windows and birds can see them and know not to thunk them there's a theory floating in the house that clunk thinks another bird lives here now and he's moved on to safer territory. i'll miss my little bud, but it's probably better this way

so this happened a few hours ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dn-s8csO3Mw obviously thunk's trying to get up high enough to say hi to bwee. we lowered bwee after this so thunk can more easily approach him. stay tuned for further updates
