That being said, it's a surprisingly stable night for April in St. Louis.There's no breeze, no freezing cold or unbearable heat, no rain (though, according to your commlink, it's supposed to rain later tonight), just a few clouds above in the starless sky.  Right now, you're wandering inside some restaurant in The Hill that you can't be bothered to remember the name of, other than that it was some long Italian word like every other drat restaurant in The Hill. You're looking for someone named Livia for a simple retrieval job, which shouldn't be hard, since the only other people in the resturaunt are the staff, some drunk assholes trying to shove the rest of their dinner into their mouths, and the five other strangers that you stepped in with. There's a loving pixie, a human who definitely looks like he's up to something, someone who's way to young to be shadowrunning, a woman who probably has more scars than you have bones, an elf who's dressed sharper than anyone else in the building, and someone who looks like he just stepped out of an old cowboy trid. Yep, seems about right. Lone Star has a relatively decent presence around the apartments (Security Level B, 1D6x5 minutes), with security ramping up depending on how close to Corporate headquarters you are (Security Rating A, 2D6+3 minutes). The blocks with the HQs on them are almost instantaneous (AAA, 1D6 minutes), and you might encounter Knight Errant or NeoNet security in and around their buildings. The apartment complex you're going towards is relatively far from the two main HQ's, both located on the left side of the little notch that cuts into The Ville, with most of the other Corp buildings on the right side of the neighborhood, but still far enough away that it shouldn't cause much attention. A Lone Star official says that they're unable to understand why Colonomos was in Wells-Goodfellow that early in the morning, and says that the incident was either a random mugging or a shadowrun against NeoNet. As for private security, there doesn't seem to be anything specifically for that building. Just Lone Star in Midtown and the megacorp's little forces, but they're only in the areas surrounding their offices.

Trix Dixon's face had been almost inscrutable when Trix set up the child's seat in his car, almost holding back a grimace at someone defacing his baby. As she folded her wings and buckled herself in, though, he was all business. She wasn't fond of being restrained, movement being deep-seated in pixie culture, but flying everywhere was hardly a palatable alternative.

Carly 'Princess' Luzir Looking at the van, Princess is reminded of basically every PSA and docu-drama she's ever seen about stranger danger. Still, she isn't just some kid - a mage, an actual Shadowrunner (sort of) and besides, she has Ol' Sparky tucked into the concealed holster in her jacket. It isn't until after she's strapped in that she remembers to check her tazer and realizes she forgot to pick up a box of darts for it.  Well, hopefully it won't be needed. She'll just be providing astral over-watch, after all. Speaking of which: "Uh, hey, Rooter? I'm just going to scout the place out in the Astral. Can you keep the van here for...say, five minutes? Don't want to have to go looking for my body when I get back," Without waiting for a response Princess goes limp, held up by her safety harness. Her astral form rises up and streaks cross the city like a silver bullet. Astrally project and proceed to the target building, commence astral reconnaissance.
